Dennis started his musical career at 9 playing piano and organ. His musical
interests soon turned to guitar and by 13 he was playing bass and singing with 4
other friends. He also plays drums, keyboards, flute and percussion
instruments. Dennis has worked on his
musical skills in many different types of music including classical (playing
string bass and cello), with two community orchestras, jazz (playing string
& electric bass and guitar), with both community and private groups, and
rock, pop, country, and dance music with a large number of bands.
After a number of years of maturation(?!), he began a professional music
career playing studio and live gigs both locally and in "show towns"
like Las Vegas and Tahoe, and has played with musical greats like Ted Turner, Tommy
Tedesco, Paul Anka and Roy Clark.
He left the music industry in 1988 and was on musical hiatus until co-forming
the "Kiwanabees" with Richard Dell and George Chernich in 1996.
This band became today's "Rock Bottom Betty".
